Arsene Wenger is delighted with Arsenal’s win over Bolton Wanderers – Premier League Update
Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger has gone on to reveal that he is more than happy with his side picking up all three points against Bolton and feels that the way his side performed, they deserved nothing less than a win in the game.
The match started off with Arsenal attacking the Bolton goal time and time again, but despite all their efforts, they failed to score a goal during the opening forty five minutes. As the second half kicked off, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 went on to score his ninety
ninth goal for the team, which was soon followed by his hundredth goal of the game. However, the game didn’t end there as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-Song-c4804 danced his way around the Bolton area in the dying minutes of the game and sent in a thunderous effort, to help Arsenal win
the game by three goals to nil.
When talking about the game and his team’s performance during the night, Wenger is quoted to have said:
“It was a question of nerves at the start of the game”
“But we had patience and intelligence and I think we controlled the whole game.”
The manager then admitted that he couldn’t see Bolton getting anything from the game in the second half and when the team went down to ten men, he knew that his side were more than likely to come out on top.
“In the second half I couldn’t see Bolton scoring a goal. They went down to 10 men and that made it even more difficult for them.”
This win over Bolton has helped Arsenal secure their second win of the Premier League season. It is rather disappointing for a team like Arsenal to pick up only seven points from their opening six fixtures, but the fact that the team is finally winning games
again, is a sign of a very bright future.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 now need to try and build on this win and go all the way in the coming weeks. The Gunners are now set to take on Olympiakos in the Champions League and would be looking to try and boost their chances of European glory in the game.
The Gunners are also set to take on Tottenham Hotspur this coming week and that game is going to be a real test of the Gunners characters. Should the team be able to beat their arch rivals, then it would be safe to say that the Gunners have finally come
out of the ditch that they found themselves in at the start of the season.
