Arsene Wenger labels Arsenal’s win over Chelsea to be torturous – Premier League Update
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has gone ahead and labeled the Gunners win over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Racing-c40298 up and down during the game.
During the game, Arsenal went on to come back from a trailing position twice in the game, to ultimately go on and pick up all three points from the game.
The manager went on to admit that there were moments in the game when his team’s defending seemed to look like a disaster, but the way they managed to get themselves back up and get their attacking flow rolling, did justice to their style of play. The manager
then admitted that he would not be looking to make any changes to the way http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 play, mainly because they have been picking up the right results time and time again.
Wenger, when talking about the game is quoted to have said: "It is [torturous], because we gave them too much room, too far in midfield, exposed on long balls over the top, so you can only hope you do not pay too much for it.
"And it was a bit test mentally because conceding before half-time can be deadly, but the way we responded was very pleasant.”
The manager then went on to admit that there was still a lot of room for improvement, but the way things had been going in the last few weeks, the wheels to achieving what the team had set out for are nearly here.
The Gunners are now on an impressive five game win streak and should they continue to play this way, they might genuinely be able to contest for the Premier League crown at the end of the season.
Nonetheless, Wenger’s strategy seems to finally be paying off and the new signings that the team has made are finally coming together, to form a commendable offensive unit.
The team really needs to work on their defending and should they manage to get that in check, then the team is going to be causing a few upsets by the end of the season.
