Arsene Wenger looking to boost striker options
Arsenal, who have quite possibly one of the best offensive line up’s in the English Premier League, are looking to boost their attack even further. That is of course if the team's manager, Arsene Wenger can sign a coveted French forward
from Bernabeu.
The player that the manager wants to lure into the Emirates is Real Madrid's bench warmer, Karim Benzema. The reason for the managers sudden change of heart about signing more forwards has come due to the fact that Robin Van Persie, the
team's Dutch ace goal scorer, has started to struggle to find his match fitness and at the moment just can't seem to make it back from getting injured very early on in the season.
Wenger along with the rest of Europe, have been long term admirers of the twenty two year old French forward who made his impact on the global scale when he started playing for Lyon. His presence for the team was so great that he earned
a move to Real Madrid, who happen to be one of the biggest clubs around. However Real Madrid's new manager, Jose Mourinho has gone ahead and admitted to the fact that despite being as good as he isBenzema will find it very hard to have any role at the team,
apart from the one that is being offered to him on the bench.
Arsenal who happen to have a great deal of transfer money on their hand, wouldn't even have to worry about going overboard to land the striker. Since the forward has fallen out of favour by a great deal at Los Blancos and the club is willing
to let him pursue his career elsewhere therefore it is easy to assume that both the parties would agree for a cut price on the player.
Transfer estimate that the experts are predicting happens to be in the range of fifteen to twenty two million pounds. However the introduction of the player, might just aid Arsenal on their run to regain dominance in England and quite
possibly even in Europe. Arsenal will however not be looking to sign the striker in January since he would be cup tied for Europe, which would make him partially useless to the team. However a move for the French forward to Arsenal in the summer window, might
just be in the works.
All in all it is a move that could prove to be a win-win situation for both the clubs and the player hence has a rather high ratio of success.
