Arsene Wenger looking to bring in some more firepower
Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger is looking to make a move for Ajax striker Luis Suarez, as early as January. The manager feels that the team’s primary focus should be to boost its attack and as a result, he is looking to make
a move for the goal scoring Uruguayan machine.
The twenty-three-year old goal scorer has been in prolific form of late and has expressed his concerns following the sacking of Martin Jol. The former Ajax manager was fired out of the blue, and many players at the club felt like
the team had lost direction all of a sudden. This, in turn, pushed the players to question their future at the club and even start looking for alternative clubs to play at.
Suarez is currently serving a seven-match ban, after having bitten an opponent, but if Wenger could have his way, then the player may never return to his current side. However, the manager is well aware of the fact that if he wishes
to bring the player in, he will have to break the club’s current transfer record.
According to most experts, although the move for Suarez appears rather unrealistic, now, it cannot be deemed impossible. Ajax are currently suffering from a financial crisis at the club, whereas Arsenal are one of the few teams
who had made a profit this past fiscal year.
However, if Suarez does move to Arsenal, then it would certainly spell the end of career for the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-Vela-c8558. Nonetheless, with Suarez being considerably much better then Vela, it is a move that will not be taken that
badly by the Arsenal fans or the club’s playeras.
