Arsene Wenger looking to land Ajax want-away striker
Arsenal's manager, Arsene Wenger is reported to to be looking to make a shocking bid to try and lure Ajax's want away striker, Luis Suarez to the Emirates. The Uruguayan striker is reported to be wanting to make his way out of the Amsterdam based club
as soon as possible and is rumored to be wanting to make a move to the Premier League. This is of course news that only came in after the team's manager; Martin Jol made a surprise exit from the club. However with news that the striker is now looking to move
away from Ajax, almost every team in Europe is looking to land the twenty three year old striker, with Arsenal apparently leading the line.
Arsene Wenger, has apparently become rather keen to reshape the team's attacking line-up, this is of course following the fact that the manager has been given a lot of problems in the recent weeks by Carlos Vela and Nicklas Bendtner, with their constant
tantrums. The manager has also apparently grown rather frustrated with Robin Van Persie's almost constant knack to pick up injuries and is now looking to bring in the Uruguayan goal machine, to try and make the already lethal Arsenal attack, even more deadly.
Suarez is currently serving a seven match ban, after having bitten an opponent in the neck during a league game. However with Suarez having come in the lime light for all the wrong reasons in the past, the player has also managed to hand his fair share
of benefits to Ajax. The player has managed to score a whopping hundred and ten goals in a hundred and fifty four appearances for the team and that is a tally that has greatly helped Ajax be one the best sides in Holland.
The player is currently valued at around twenty million pounds in the market by the experts and if Arsenal are to lure the player in, then they might just have to break their own transfer record in order to do so. However a move for Suarez could just
prove to be one of the best decisions made by Wenger in the transfer market. That is of course if the manager does decide to make the final move for the player and launch a formal bid for him.
Suarez is a player who could greatly benefit Arsenal and could prove to be the missing link to ending the team's five year trophy drought.
