Arsene Wenger praises Jack Wilshere after routine win over Wolves
Arsenal's manager, Arsene Wenger, has praised the teenage sensation http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952. As a result of the win, Arsenal is still in
contention for the Premier League crown and is only four points adrift of Manchester United.
Dutch forward, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380, was responsible for scoring both goals for the Gunners. However Arsenal’s final score could have been well out of reach, had a number of other players on the side managed to capitalise on the numerous chances that the team
created all throughout the game. During the course of the match all eyes were on Wilshere. The player had been a part of the England side that beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello as one of the greatest
players ever, he had a lot of pressure riding on his shoulders. Nonetheless, the player managed to deliver and helped to prove that he was worth all the praise.
The only aspect of the young midfielder's game that is lacking is his ability to score goals. So far this term the player has managed to find the back of the net only once. His critics have pointed to scoring record as a sign that he is not as good as others
may claim. Overall his improvement has been quite rapid and his manager believes it won't be long before the player starts scoring goals more often than not.
Arsene Wenger is reported to have said: "But Jack is a talented player who can defend and attack. He had a very good game. He defends well, he attacks well, he creates, he has assists."
He also went on to add, "He is a very confident lad but he has not scored yet. Cesc was like that for a while. I believe he will score soon because he looks very close. He has a hesitation some time to shoot himself and chooses to always give the ball. When
he is a bit more confident he will score goals."
It is fairly obvious that the young English midfielder has won over not only his international team's manager but also Arsene Wenger. With the player managing to win over two of the best managers in the business, it is safe to say that Wilshere is destined
for greatness.
However despite that fact, the player will be put through the ultimate test when Arsenal take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 later this week. If Wilshere manages to impress against the Catalan giants, his future English football will be settled once and for all.
