The English midfielder has been sidelined with a ankle trouble and despite having surgery on his ankle last September, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 has been unable to return to action for the Gunners which is a worrying sign for his dream
to play for England at the European championships...
Arsene Wenger has revealed that Jack Wilshere might not be able to play for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 at the upcoming European Championships in the summer as he is still down with injury. The Arsenal manager has been waiting on his midfielder to
make a comeback to full time action for the Gunners this season but Wilshere has been unable to do so as he has been sidelined due to an ankle problem.
The young playmaker had an operation on his ankle last September but that has not allowed him to step back into the world of football and now Wenger has said that Wilshere is not yet training with the first team at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and
is still training alone in the gym.
He said, “I will not take any risks with him. He is making slow progress so we still have to monitor the situation a little bit at the moment. We are now in mid-April, the Euros start in the middle of June. Jack has not played
for the whole season and anyone who knows what is required at the top level, in terms of intensity, it's getting short now."
He added, "How can you be at 20 years of age when your only dream is to play football? He's down. Jack is mentally strong. But what is holding him back is that he can't play football, so he can't be happy." Wenger also gave his
comments on the wrongful decisions from referees over the previous few weeks of English football.
The Frenchman stated, "Last weekend was a very, very bad weekend. The football authorities on a global scale have to sit together and see how we can improve. Video will help the referees - not question their authority. It will
give them more credit, more authority and less mistakes. (We need) instant video replays on the demand of the referee."
