Arsene Wenger says http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065 will return to Arsenal next week
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey, who is currently on loan to League One side Cardiff City, will be called back after his spell ends in a few days time.
Wenger said, “I intend to use him, I have had good reports from Cardiff. He is on loan until Saturday. After that he comes back. I think he will play this Saturday again and then we will see if he comes through that game well. After that he is available
for Arsenal.”
Ramsey spent over 8 months on the sidelines after sustaining double leg fracture in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s Premier League match against Stoke City back in February, 2010. The young Welsh midfielder returned to action later that year in November and was loaned out to
League One side Nottingham Forest in order to gain full fitness.
After completing the loan spell at Forest, where he could only feature in five matches, Ramsey returned to Arsenal in January 2011. He then made another loan switch to Cardiff City for one month.
The 20-year-old has been exceptional at his boyhood club. Cardiff City are currently unbeaten in all the matches in which Ramsey played. The Welsh midfielder has become one of the vital members of the Bluebirds.
The Gunners’ midfielder scored in Cardiff’s historic 2-0 victory over the Leicester City to keep the Bluebirds in the Barclays Premier League promotion hunt.
Due to Ramsey’s extraordinary impact on the team, Cardiff City boss Dave Jones wanted the Welsh midfielder to stay the club for some more time. But Arsene Wenger wants to utilise Ramsey for the upcoming crucial period in which they are contesting for four
different titles.
Moreover, the Arsenal manager also sees Ramsey as a perfect replacement for the out-of-form veteran midfielder Tomas Rosicky.
Ramsey is happy to see himself returning to full fitness and hopes to continue his form at Arsenal.
“I feel I'm getting back my best. I hope that'll continue so I can get back to where I was and better. I wanted to get a goal before I go back and I was glad it came at home. That is what these games are for, to get me back into the wing of things and I
feel that is coming each game that I'm getting better and stronger,” said the 20-year-old.
Ramsey is yet to play in Arsenal colours in the ongoing 2010-11 season. However, it is expected that the Welshman will open his account with the Gunners in the upcoming FA Cup replay match against Leyton Orient on 2 March, 2011.
