Arsene Wenger has come out and put the blame on his team for their recent loss to Queens Park Rangers by stating clearly that the players lacked commitment in their match against the English Premier League minnows. Arsenal failed
to add to their winning streak and in doing so they also failed to gain more ground in the race for the UEFA Champions League qualification places when compared to the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Tottenham Hotspur who are now closing in on the Gunners in third place
position.
Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s guile in central midfield and ended up as 2-1 winners at their home ground in the end much to the delight of their supporters as they are sure shot contenders for the relegation battle this
time around in the league season. Wenger’s team on the other hand failed to impress for most parts of the game and now they must build towards their encounter against Manchester City which will be central to their hopes of finishing in the top four teams of
the Premier League.
Wenger said in his post-match comments, "Something was missing today. In the Premier League if you miss something on the commitment front you are beaten. That was the result of the situation today.”
He added, "It is very frustrating. They left us the ball and waited for our mistakes. We took the ball, didn’t do a lot with it and made mistakes. That makes the result. Our performance was not good enough to win this type of game.
What we produced was not good enough. I don’t know. It is difficult to single out one reason. The players prepared properly. We missed something today and you can see that.”
