It is being reported that Arsene Wenger is set to give Park Chu Young the opportunity to prove himself once again, as the manager is set to let the player start the Gunners upcoming Carling Cup clash against Manchester City.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 are set to take on Manchester City in the Carling Cup, following a one all draw against Fulham this past weekend and for that very reason, the manager is looking to rotate the squad.
Wenger is set to give his star players a little break, as he looks to avoid over exerting them and preventing another player from picking up an injury.
When talking about the upcoming game, Wenger has gone on to admit that he has already decided what players he is going to start and that he is looking to field a mixture of youth and experience during the game.
The manager is quoted to have said: “I have 90 per cent decided. There is still 10 per cent flexibility and because of this I cannot tell you who plays. It will be the usual blend of experience and youth"
Wenger then went on to admit that some of the players at the club might be feeling that their first team options are very limited, but he is looking to change all of that, as he looks to allow more players to start for the team.
"I believe that some players are on the fringe of being really limited. I will rest some players, but I still want to play a team that has a chance to win the game."
Wenger then went on to talk about Wenger, as he stated: "Park is adapting to the level he is facing here and he has another opportunity against Manchester City tomorrow night [Tuesday] to show that he can do it."
Park is yet to make any significant contributions to the Gunners squad and the player has so far been nothing more than a luxury for the team. Wenger probably feels like it is high time for the forward to prove his worth and try and make a name for himself
in the squad, which is why he would be looking to offer the player a start in the game.
