Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger has admitted that his team need to score an away goal, in order to beat their opponents in the Champions League.
The Gunners are set to take on AC Milan in the Champions League, as both the teams look to make it to the next round of the tournament.
However, given the form that the teams have been showing in their domestic leagues, the match is going to be a real test for the two clubs.
Arsene Wenger feels that his side can easily go on and win the game, should they manage to score an away goal in the game.
The Frenchman feels the Champions League awards offensive play and knows that his side need to take advantage of this rule, in order to progress.
The manager is quoted to have said: "The European system is organised to reward audacious action away from home.”
"When you go away in the Champions League, you have to score.”
"The best way to score is play in an offensive way and we will try to do that."
Going into the game the Gunners have been given a massive boost, as most of their first team is now fit and their defenders are back to full fitness.
The North London club had their fair share of problems, given that four of their full backs went on to pick up injuries and were ruled out of action for a lengthy period of time.
Now with most of those injured players back in the team, Wenger has ample options to rotate and adapt his squad, in order to overcome Milan.
Wenger then went on to add: "I have plenty of options and I am happy with the way the defence works"
Given the fact that both the teams play high tempo football, the match is going to be decided on what team takes their chances and which side goes on and manages to keep their defence solid throughout the game.
It is now a wait to see just which team end up coming out on top at the end of the two legs.
