Therefore it is important for the team to go over the complete
game plan thoroughly before going into the field to face Tottenham.
In a recent interview, the 61-year-old Frenchman, Wenger, expressed that this time is best for his team to stay united and give its best performance on the field. He said that the lads must not worry about the previous defeats and play with all their heart
and soul in the battle against Harry Redknapp’s team. Wenger said that the boys should enter the stadium with one and only desire, to win and play their top game.
Arsene also revealed the team’ game strategy against Tottenham by saying that the Gunners will not wait for the Hotspurs to attack but will play a dominating and attacking game to build pressure on the opposition.
The Frenchman is well aware that the upcoming match is a very important match for his team therefore it is important for him to keep the players motivated and hungry for success. Wenger told the media that it is a very big game for the club and the victory
in this match will predict the future of the club in the ongoing season.
On the other hand, Tottenham’s boss, Redknapp, also seems pretty confident about facing the derby challenge. Their performance in this season has been tremendous. Hence, beating Tottenham will not be an easy pill to swallow for Wenger’s lads.
Arsene said that it will be a test of character and skills for his players and the match is going to be one of the toughest matches of the season. He said that the previous performances of his team against Tottenham were not bad at all, specifically referring
to the fact that the Gunners outplayed Hotspurs in the Carling Cup in September. He further added that at the moment his team is not worried and will play its natural game.
Wenger also praised Harry Redknapp’s performance as the manager of Tottenham. He said that under the management of Redknapp, the team has really improved and now it is being considered as one of the top teams in the English Premier League. He added that
Hotspurs have shown some tremendous improvement during the last two years and they have really come up with some great performances this season.
