Having said that, the manager has gone on to deny that he is interested in making a move for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 winger, Juan Mata and has stated that there have been no talks over the capture of Jadson from Shaktar Donestk.
When talking about his transfer plans for the remainder of the transfer window, Wenger is quoted to have said: "I will pay £30 million, I will even pay £40m if I find the right players"
However, he then went on to admit that it was not about the quantity or the amount that you spend, as it was the quality of the players that he was looking into.”
Nonetheless, he then returned to stating that he was not afraid of spending money, as many assume
He added: "And we are not frightened to spend money when we think it's right.”
Wenger then had a message for the team’s fans, as he stated they had every reason to be proud of the team and the way it was being run.
"Our fans have more reasons to be proud of this club - the values here, the way the club is run, what the club is built [upon] - than being angry with the club.”
The Gunners boss then ended on a high note and stated that winning trophies is what’s important for every club and that’s what Arsenal want to do. There was a sense of optimism in him talking about winning titles and it seems like he might be looking to
do so this season.
"Of course we want to deliver trophies, of course we want to win trophies, who wouldn't want [that]?
Arsenal are now in their sixth year without having won any trophies. At the same time, the Gunners have lost their captain Cesc Fabregas and are on the brink of losing out on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360. Should that happen, the Gunners will have even more funds to go ahead
and land players and make the team stronger than it has ever been.
The manager then went on to deliver one final message, regarding what he expected from his team and its fans.
"Football is difficult enough if you are united. If you are not united, you have no chance."
