Arsenal’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873’s opening goal at the stroke of half time prove to be the spark that the Gunners needs to make their comeback against Reading.
In their game against Reading, Arsenal found themselves trailing to their opponents by four goals to nil in the opening thirty minutes.
However, with Walcott scoring one goal for the North London club before the end of the half, it seemed like Arsenal might be able to get something out of the game.
The match then saw the Gunners take the upper hand in the match, which saw them ultimately win the game by seven goals to five in extra time.
Despite the whole team pulling together in the latter stages of the game, Arshavin has gone on to praise Walcott and his goal, since he feels it gave the team the much needed confidence boost, which helped them get on top of things.
"I think it was important that we scored one goal before half-time because it helped us believe that maybe it was possible," he told http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 Player.

"I think we showed spirit because you cannot come back from 4-0 down if you don't have spirit. Also I think we were lucky and the referee added extra minutes and we equalised at the end of stoppage time."
The player also insisted that he won’t be disappointed with the way his team conceded goals early on in the game, since they went on to compensate for it later on. He claimed that the Gunners always knew they could get back in the game, irrelevant of what was going on.
He added: "I did not feel frustrated but everything was going wrong and everything was going well for Reading. They got in the necessary positions where they could score and they did it.

"To be honest I did not think about when we had to equalise, I just felt that if we had the chance and God will help us, we will make a draw. He helped us and that's why we scored in the last minute.”
The Russian also admitted that he has been involved in some high scoring games in the past, but feels that this game holds a special place in his heart since the team came back from a near impossible score to get back in the game.
