http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrei-Arshavin-c5771 has admitted that he is looking to return to the Emirates following his loan spell at Zenit, as he hopes to make a name for himself in the Gunners squad once again.
The Russian international joined Arsenal in 2009 and following his arrival, he went on to win just about everyone over.
However, this season the forward had been having a hard time adjusting to life in the Premier League and as a result, the manager thought it would be better for him to go out on a loan.
Arshavin is now back in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 and is playing for Zenit until the end of the season, but the attacker has insisted that he is looking forward to returning to the Emirates, to prove his worth to the team.
In a recent interview, when the forward was asked whether he would like to return to London and play for Arsenal again, he responded by stating:  “Of course, yes.”
“Every player does not want to sit on the bench or the stands and watch the action from there.”
“When I was at Arsenal, I always wanted to play and not sit on the sidelines watching everything unfold.”
“I’m used to living in London and while I am on loan at Zenit my family has stayed in London, because my children go to school there and everybody feels comfortable there.”
Over the course of his career with Arsenal, Arshavin has proven that he has what it takes to go on and be a match winner. Despite that fact, he has also proven that he can be rather frustrating to work with, when things aren’t working out for him.
His work rate and efficiency were at an all time low this season and many of the fans questioned the player’s mindset and whether he wanted to even stick around at the club or not.
Nonetheless, with the Russian now seemingly being eager to return to Arsenal, he is bound to try and prove all his critics wrong with his performances on the pitch.
It is now a wait to see just how Arshavin performs when he returns to the Emirates at the end of the season.
