Art Dzeko determined to win Taxis Handicap
Art Dzeko is fully determined to claim the ace title of Faster Greener Central Taxis Handicap that will take place at Musselburgh racecourse on Friday, May 25. The high-voltage Class 5 contest over the distance of 7 furlongs and 30 yards will commence at
8:45 (GMT).
Pursuing the prize cheque worth £3,881, the Tim Easterby-trained bay gelding will compete against half a dozen rivals such as On The Hoof, Al Shaqab, For Shia And Lula, Ghost Train, Our Boy Jack and Outlaw Torn.
Art Dzeko is on the verge of a hat-trick. The three-year-old maverick horse excellently finished first in each of his last two starts on April 25 and May 8, 2012.
Prior to these epic feats, the talented gelding had gained two back-to-back third positions. These impressive performances have boosted up the gifted runner’s morale to a great extent.
The talented son of Acclamation out of Delitme is awash with winning momentum that will help him thrive today. The horse’s chances to finish first are as high as 95 percent.
Though Art Dzeko will be able to pave his way towards victory convincingly and none of his competitors can impede him, but he is likely to pass through a few tough challenges as On The Hoof looks to be strong enough on the card.
On The Hoof broke his maiden in his last outing on May 15, 2012. The Michael Easterby-trained grey gelding has run for 11 times to date. Prior to his maiden triumph, the veteran horse grabbed a 3rd and a 4th position on April 21 and
May 2 respectively.
Ghost Train is too likely to do well today. The Mark Johnston-trained bay gelding has won 1 of his total 7 starts to date. He finished 5th in each of his last two races during April 2012.
Thus, there is likely to be a fierce battle in Taxis Handicap. The event will be thrilling and interesting enough. Let us enjoy the splendid action and see who gains what. Good luck to all the runners who are lined-up to sizzle today.
