Art and Design Schools In NYC??

Im looking for art and desgin schools in new york city. im hoping to be a fashion designer in the near future and i can draw pretty well from what i hear. anything in mid-town or down-town and is easy to get to from penn station because i live in long island. thanks!

NYU is a private, elite university that specializes in liberal arts. It is very hard to get in, but it's an amazing university.
