Art major needs money!?

i'm majoring in studio art (like painting, drawing, sculpture- the lot of it) and i have one more semester left. due to circumstances, i need to work from home this summer and make as much money as possible. does anyone have any ideas of what i could do? i thought about book illustration but that takes months/ years to get established. help! i ideally need to make about $2000.

  1. You could try and sell your work at art shows and craft shows and make a flyer showing you do customized work (I'm guessing you do).   You could do the shows on weekends and be home during the week.  

    We've used a couple local artists to do some drawings that we met at art shows.  One was a high school student who we met at a large craft show.  She had made brochures and had a sampling of her work in her booth.  She did 2 drawings for us.   One was  $75, the other  $250 - and when I picked the work up from her - she told me she had a very profitable weekend.
