Art poster for project.

I need to create a poster advertising an art show but I am not sure what to decorate it with to make it unique and noticeable. Ideas?

I'm sorry that I can't recommend any specific materials for you to use, but what I can recommend is that you use bright colors, or use colors to create contrast, which should catch the eyes of others.

first off use poster board. they come in all sorts of cool colors. from bright to dark!. and there cheap i can but a HUGE SHEET for 99 cents.
