Art project idea w/ben and jerry's

so i have tons of ben and jerry's pint lids that i have saved over the year.... i was thinking about putting them up on my wall.

i also saved all of the pint tubs themselves.

any ideas of what i could do with the lids? the tubs? that could possible be a decoration peice?

  1. you could make an area lamp...or a table with the table top being the tops with glass on top so they dont get ruined and cutting the tubs in half and putting the fronts around the table base (of a cylindrical table)


  2. get a shadow box... like  a frame that you can put stuff in, rather than just a picture... that is about 4 inches deep, deep enough to fit the ben and jerry's tub in.  stack them up inside the shadow box, first column right side up next column upside down... until the whole thing is filled.  Make the labels face out, and try not to put the same tubs next to each other.  I think it will look cool.. and not like garbage on the wall since it's behind glass, in a frame!

    Michaels should have this type of frame, and if you're not sure what to look for, ask at the frame counter for a shadow box, with a depth of at least 4 inches... you'll probably want a big one... like 15"x15" or larger.  it might be a little $$.. if you cant afford that, it would be super easy to make one with supplies from home depot
