Social norms within each culture?  SIGNS:  NO HUGGING IN PUBLIC   - NO PICKING NOSE EVER IN TOWN>

Another group of people have these norms:  Hugging is allowed between 6am and 6pm Monday - Friday -- Blowing nose in kerchief is advisable in town.

On one side of mountain social norms are strict

on other side they are more at ease...even tho there are restrictions not nearly as rigid?  * Each culture makes the norms to fit their way of living....*
