Art project using numbers?

i am taking a child developement class and we need an art project to do with 3 year olds.

we need to use the numbers 11 and 12.

please write back asap.

you can take anything...cheerios, buttons, beads- to make 11 and 12, like you can take 11 buttons to make the number 11..kind of confusing but thats the best i can think of:):)

Do you have to teach them to count to 11 and 12?

Do something involving a clock. They can try to point to 11 and 12 on a clock. (Some kids might point to 1 or 2.)

After they find the numbers on a clock, do an art project where numbers 1-10 are filled in. The kids can paste on, paint , or color the numbers 11 and 12 .

Then they can try to find 11 and 12 on the clock again the next day for review.

How about a color by the numbers project. I know old school right? No pun intended! lol

Use a simple picture that you can break up and label either 11 or 12.

Have the child color the spot that corresponds with that number. Like a Panda for example. Blank and White or Pink and Green. What ever you decide.

make a collage of a christmas tree, using 11 or 12 ornaments of a kind and candles, 11 or 12 presents wrapped in different colors paper or different sizes.

Glue 11of  those silver icicles you put on x-mas trees onto two numeral ones or on a traced number 11. Cut them for smaller pieces.  Talk about the icicles that hang off the roof during winter.

Maybe a very simple paint by numbers type thing.

Or something like: draw 1 dog, 2 sheep.... 12 cows etc.
