Art project with straws?

what type of art project can one do with children 5-6 using straws? Thanks.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Small blocks of 2 inch thick white styrofoam (cut to 8" x 8").
Box of multicolor soda straws.
Safety scissors.

Cut the straws to various lengths.  ALL OF THEM.

Have the children insert the straws into the white styrofoam, keeping the various lengths close together.  Show them how to transition the various lengths of straws to create a colorful "rolling landscape".  The variations in lengths and colors could allow them to be very creative.  It's a safe projects, requiring no glue.
