Art; the most competitive feild in the world?

Question

job wise, would art be considered the most competitive?

i.e., musician, animator, actor

if not, what is the most competitive in YOUR opinion?

I would have to agree that art is one of the most competitive fields for a career.  There is no guarantees of how much your income would be if you have a formal education.   Education in this field doesn't give you an upper hand in how successful you will be as a musician or as fine art painter/drawer.
