Arsenal’s midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mikel-Arteta-c25715 has urged the Gunners to pick themselves up following their defeat to Chelsea, and bounce back even stronger in the coming weeks.
The North London club went on to lose their first game of the season, as Chelsea beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 by two goals to one, in a very closely contested match.
Despite the loss, Arteta feels that the team can take a lot of positives from it, while claiming that the Gunners were the better side over the ninety minutes and it was down to luck, which helped http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 take all three points from the game
"We have played some of the best teams in the league and we haven't been battered at all," he said in a recent interview.
"In fact it has been the opposite, we have been better than them through the 90 minutes. I think that is a very positive thing. We will bounce back on Wednesday."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Laurent-Koscielny-c21742 and creep into the goal in the second half, as Chelsea edged past Arsenal
in the game.
Arteta has identified the fact that the team aren’t defending set pieces properly and this is something that they really need to work on.
"We have conceded three goals from three set-pieces in the last two games that cost us points and it is not good enough," he added.
However, he isn’t blaming any single player for the goals, as he feels the team should have done better in the first place, and avoided conceding the penalties to begin with.
"You cannot blame one player, you have to clear the lines so quickly and you cannot allow runners like that in the box, and it was the same sort of ball for both goals.”
With the North London club seemingly still playing good football, and with the spirit inside the club being at an all time high, it is safe to assume that the team is going to be coming out with all guns blazing in their coming matches.
