I have had this habit going on for a couple of years now where i click my Jaw, and i only do it when I'm concentrating and or watching T.V or getting tired so i don't do it all day long but for a couple of hours a day. And now i am getting worried that i may cause Arthritis in my Jaw. Can this be possible? My jaw can sometimes ache a bit but not that often.

Can anyone shed any light in this at all?

Thank you.

  2. I had it for decades...eventually putting it down to grinding of teeth when asleep.

Drastic I know but some teeth were lost and guess what...the problem stopped. And I no longer have it. A dentist or consultant can sometimes offer treatment but as has been suggested it can disappear on it's own.

Its a more common ailment than many realise.
