Arthur Treachers or Long John Silvers?

Thanks for the link Sag 1970. Enjoying Arthur Treachers in the Cayman Islands would be like dying and going to heaven.

I had no idea Arthur Treachers was still in business.  Long John Silvers is OK for what it is but Arthur Treachers gets very close to the way fish and chips are supposed to be made.   Silvers uses way too much breading to cover the low quality of the fish.  A good fresh fish will have a good taste that doesn't need to be covered up.

I don't know that I'd eat at either.  Long John's is so greasy and Arthur...well, I think that man is dead.  I'll go to Red Lobster for my seafood.

I liked Arthur Treachers but there are none in my area anymore and only recently long john silvers has returned.
