Artificial diet?

How do you make the caterpillar artificial diet( Note: i will NOT buy it i want to make my own.

I have no clue, and mean no offense, but I find the best defense for gaining weight is often just a physical exercise of pushing the chair back, away from the table, no matter if one has consumed an entire meal or not.

  Not at all sure what is meant by a caterpillar diet, I happen to know, that similar to birds, they consume more than their own body weight, every day. In a similar context, certainly I hope eating them is not part of the diet.
