1) so i've found out that dr.s can give people treatment to make them shorter in such cases like marfan syndrome (don't know how to spell it) what are these treatments??

2) is it possible to still use human growth hormone that will work when fully grown, in this case 25yrs, will that still work as my husband has been offered them but not sure about side effects and results... more info would be great thanks!!

  1. 1)  Anabolic steroids (for example) will stop growth in prepubescent children, but once growth has happened, it has happened,  There is no non-surgical way to reduce someone's height after the growth has occured.  Google "premature epiphyseal closure" for more info.

    2)  Human growth hormone given after epiphyseal closure will cause acromegalic changes in bones, but will not increase height.  The late wrestler Andre the Giant was acromegalic - look for an image of him to see what it does to one's looks.  I wouldn't recommend him using it.
