Can be from any time period, any style and medium, any artists, but has to be mostly Greek, Roman, or Egyptian. Can be gods, goddesses, deities, kings, queens, pharaohs, etc.

  1. Try this book:

The Mirror of the Gods by Malcolm Bull

  2. John William Waterhouse is most famous for his Arthurian-themed works, but he painted scenes and characters from Greek mythology as well.

  3. My favorites are Boris Vallejo and Frank Frazetta. Their renditions of the gods/goddesses are truly unique and inspiring. They've drawn and painted MANY deities from Greek, Roman, Norse and Egyptian pantheons for many years and each one is truly awe inspiring.

  4. The Symbolist painters especially, and maybe the Art Nouveau period.

  5. There's my favorite artist:  Susan Seddon Boulet.  I know she's done a whole series of paintings of her interpretation of the different goddesses from all mythologies.
