Artists were do you find suppliers to FRAME your work?

Hi, were do you usually go to get your work custom framed? Is there any sites you can suggest online that are affordable ? Thanks!

  1. While there are scores of framing shops in the San Francisco Bay Area, I find that most art supply and craft stores provide good framing service and fairly reasonable prices.

    Please understand, that I don't produce "fine art," but rather, graphics in many forms.  Most of my work is for publicatin of some sort, and almost all of my work that gets framed is by request of a client.  And, in most such cases, the framing is mostly done for mounting purposes, and less for display as art.

    I imagine that if I were producing fine art portraits and other subjects for display in someones's home or place of business, I may feel more comfortable going to a higher end framer.  Not that it would matter to me, but, as long as the client was paying for it ...
