Artrage 2.5 help? "will only run on a Wacom tablet"?

Question

I got the full program with a bamboo wacom tablet. Every time I try to start it a message comes up saying "This application will only run on a Wacom tablet." and then it closes the program instantly. I've tried opening it using my tablet and not having the mouse plugged in at all, but it makes no difference ;(

Now I really don't get this because it says nowhere else that the program is tablet exclusive and if you have to use one of those laptop/tablet things, why would it be packaged with the regular bamboo tablet? Help plox.

What usually happens is that bundled software only works with the bundled hardware.  It sounds like you haven't (correctly) installed the tablet or you're using different drivers or a different operating system.  You should contact Wacom to see what's up.
