The former Legia Warsaw goalkeeper has remarked that he would like a move to Celtic in the summer, but remarked on his commitment to Fiorentina at the moment.
The Viola shot stopper had spent quite a lot of time at the Bhoys, and reminisces his time in the Scottish Premier League with fond memories. He spent five years at the
Glasgow based club before moving to Fiorentina in 2010, in a deal worth 2 million pounds.

This will leave him to be a free agent, and in a bid to ignite some interest in him before the transfer window, Boruc has stated of his preference of moving to the Scottish giants.

In his interview with the Daily Record, Boruc was of the opinion:
“Of course I would go back to Celtic. I miss a lot of things about
Parkhead and living in Glasgow.”
He has left the door open for negotiations between the two parties by stating that if anyone from the Hoops wants to get in touch with him, he will respond and in turn listen
to the offer they have to present. He stated that he likes the idea of going back to Celtic and playing for the Glasgow-based club.
However, despite his preference for a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Scotland-c756, he has stated that he is committed to the cause of his current employers, and for now his intention is for the club
to stay in the Serie A. He remarked:
“But right now my focus is on helping
Fiorentina stay up.”
Despite his apparent commitment to the Gigliati cause he went on to heap praise on the current manager of Celtics, Neil Lennon. He stated that he had been teammates with
the manager and had grown to admire his qualities of leadership. He went on to state:
“He is a great motivator and was always a leader. He was the captain when I joined Celtic and was helpful to me. Neil helped educate me in terms of what it was all about
being a Celtic player. I’m delighted that he has won the league this year. It is not easy to win the
SPL and it’s great he has driven the club on again. I hope Celtic now get back into the Champions
League.”
The current Celtic goalkeeper is Fraser Forster who is on loan from the Premier League outfit, Newcastle United.
