People seem to be overlooking the fact that Corrales, though an awesome puncher at 135, only fought at 140 or above once, where he lost just about every round, got knocked down twice, and spat out his mouthpiece. I miss Chico, but I would have to go with Gatti in that bout. They both have massive hearts, but Gatti was the bigger puncher for me. Gatti fought frequently at 140 and above, and even ended some of those fights early. It would be an incredible war, with both fighters trading bombs and hitting the deck, and Gatti coming out on top with an 11th round KO.

personally i think it should  only be a 10 rounder for this fight that would be more than enough for those two great boxers. And for sure it would NOT go the distance it would be an absolute sellout! ticket sales and pay-per-view the kind of fight you would want to record. I think Gatti would win by TKO in the 5th round

Diego Corrales would take it in an absolute slug fest which looks a bit like a Gatti V Ward fight. I loved watching Gatti, but he is a true brawler in every sense of the word. His true boxing skill was a bit suspect. Every time he stepped up against really skilled, elite fighters (see DeLahoya & Mayweather) it wasn't much of a contest. Chico could brawl with the best of em, but I think the additional boxing skill might have been enough to get him the win. h**l of a thought for a match though. No doubt the fight would be as close to a bar room brawl as you're gonna get in a boxing ring.

Why would you need 15 rounds?  Just kidding...

I think Gatti would get sliced and diced against the skilled and tall Corrales.  Stoppage in under 6.

And I assume we are talking before the Corrales-Castillo I, since after that he was basically done.

Chico's  ghost could beat Gatti... no but seriously Corrales would win this but would have been nice to watch.

would be a war but Arturo Gatti i think would be too strong for Corrales and i think would stop him.  The fight would be a sellout
