The Bianconeri midfielder is keen to win the Scudetto this season, and has put Champions League ambitions on hold for now.
Juventus midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arturo-Vidal-c6760, is looking forward to win the 2011/12 Serie A in his debut season with the club.
The midfielder believes that the Turin giants should move step by step, and the dream of winning the UEFA Champions League should be put on hold until the next season.
The midfielder has urged his team to remain focused on Serie A for the time being, and believes that they should finish the season unbeaten.
While talking in the club’s Filo Diretto show, the Chilean international said:
“I would do anything to win the Champions League, but let’s calm down. We’re working and we’re strong, but we need to take one step at a time. There is plenty of time for the Champions League."
The 24-year-old Juventino has targeted domestic silverware, and wants to win the Coppa Italia and Scudetto this season. He has urged his teammates to remain focused on the two competitions.
“Now we’re in the hunt for the Championship and the Coppa Italia and we mustn’t think about anything else,” added Vidal.
La Vecchia Signora are currently joint top of the league table alongside defending champions, AC Milan. The Turin giants are yet to taste a defeat after 17 league games this season.
Vidal insists that they will need to remain consistent until the end of the season, as the competition is very strong. The Chilean hailed the dressing room spirit and believes that it is the main reason behind their recent success.
“This is a difficult championship, in which you’re required to always give 100 per cent because there really are many strong sides. However, Juve are one of these. Our strength is our squad, not just for the dressing room spirit,
but above all for the ability to pull in one direction, towards the same objective.”
