  1. no.

My best friend bought the first policy I ever sold - a term life policy.

But as an insurance professional, I make it a policy to never "spit in my own soup".  I never, ever, write my personal insurance through the company/agency I'm working for.  I don't want everyone there to "know my business",   I don't want a personal issue to sour a business relationship, and I don't want a business issue to interfere in my personal financial matters.

  2. i first tried life and health and i hated the door to door thing and didnt sale one policy now i am a pand c agent and own my own agency and have only been doing it since dec and i make any where from 4 -7000.00 a month and i love my job now thats what you should be in life insurance was so hard to sale p and c is so easy every body needs it and when it comes to life ins it seems everybody thinks they will live forever and ive also gotten answers like who would i leave it to i have nobody and i think people right now will be scared to buy life ins. because of this recession i dont feel anything from it but thats going to be the new excuse but yes if you dont have life ins you should buy it you will make part of your money back and evryone need some life ins even ifs it to jus have urself buried

  3. YES

Do you believe in your company and the product you provide?  I have never hesitated to be my own best client.  Especially now that I am an independent broker and know that I am getting the best product.

Don't buy more than you need or can presently afford though.

Good luck with the door to door and phone sales.  That's tough work
