The music seems unimportant....is it props? Is it certain movements?

I LOVE this show...but really want to know.

  1. contemporary or modern is more flowing and funkier moves

jazz tends to be more stiff and sharp

  2. well what do u mean?

if u mean what it's considered, its basically a mix of modern (contemporary) and hip hop.

umm well jazz can easily be recognized by a lot of things.

    heres an example:

in ballet, when you do a pirouette, you have to make sure your leg is turned out and your toe is pointed. in jazz, you dont necessarily have to point your toe and when you do a pirouette the leg is turned in. theres a lot of broadway-ish moevents in jazz.

  3. Contemporary you have to really precise lines whereas jazz lines are important too but it's more of having fun

Contemporary is bringing the passion to the music
