As a Canadian citizen, am I also considered a British citizen as Canada is part of Britain?

    Canada is Canada and Britain is Britain. They are completely seperate countries.

    You can ONLY become a british citizen (under the ancestry visa program) if your parents or grandparents were born in UK.

    If your great grandparents were the last ones born  in UK, then you are not eligible to British citizenship unless you apply to emigrate there.

  7. No Canada and Britain are two different contraries.   Canada is a constitutional Monarchy which means it is self governed.

    It is slightly easier to emigrate throughout the commonwealth however you are only a Canadian Citizen.
