  1. Proud on Hitler???? Are you crazy?? He was a dictator and the main responsible person for the worst genocide and the worst war that the world has ever known. But I must say not only he was responsible but also all who willingly followed him and took part in these crimes.

And even today we have some nuts like this guy who wrote here that he thinks Hitler was a "decent leader"!!! That too is a shame, but people like him are a minority in Germany today.

I don't feel personally ashamed as I didn't even live then, but I think it is a big shame for Germany as a nation and that many of the Germans who lived then should be ashamed. Only those who resisted and fought the regime in some way or helped persecuted people should be proud, and unfortunately they were not that many.

  2. He was a disgusting, evil maniac.

  3. Neither, because he was not German, he was Austrian. He was sick in the head but I didn't live during that time, so I don't feel ashamed or anything like that for being German.

  4. He was a mass murderer as were all the people that followed him. They still are and all were all murderers. Nothing can be taken away from what they took part in.

Any person that took part doesn't deserve to live the rest of their lives for what they took away from others. I lost a little over Two Hundred (200) family members. That was genocide.

They killed babies, children and adults all innocent and not part of any war. All my relatives are gone now.

If any of those people that took part are reading this you don't deserve to live. How could you even live with yourselves knowing what you took part in.

How would you like all your entire family and associated relatives all just murdered and taken away from you.

I can't forgive and forget. I wouldn't hestitate to shoot you all on the spot. War criminals deserve to die.

  5. Im not German, but just got back from Nurnberg and asked that very question to many locals.

In short, they hate Hitler, but are tired of being reminded about it in a way that they should be made to feel shamed for all eternity.

If you go to Nurnberg, take tram #9 to the Rally area.

    More info. email me.

  6. i dont need to be german to have an opinion here, im a human being and what he did to the jews is totally disgusting, hitler was an egotistical crazy b*****d, and he suffers in h**l for what he did...

  7. I don't need to shame myself, because I didn't do anything in that time and also I was not on this world. I don't know, why the Germans need to shame on their self, because the bad History? Also there is another countries do so many wars and doing right now so many wars, they need to shame on their self too. What you think?

Hitler was Idiot, that's all what I can say.

  8. If it wasn't for his manic attempt at genocide, I as a German think he was a pretty decent leader.

  9. I always try to take a neutral stand on issues. Hitler was a cruel leader but even cruel leaders build roads, hospitals, and so forth. Unfortunately it was his hatred towards the Jewish religion which he confused as an ethnicity that won him the title of the worst ruler in recent history. Equally cruel as him is the government of Turkey which was resposible for the Armenian Holocaust which 1.5 million Armenians were slaughtered. Interesting fact is that Bush acknowledges the Jewish Holocaust but refuses to acknowledge the Armenian Holocaust

  10. I'm not a German, but a friend of mine now living in the mid-USA is.  Her daughter was in a school band for the town's parade.  I thought she'd be happy, but she said she hates parades because it reminded her of Hitler's parades through the German towns.  She wasn't even born at the time, but she says they were shown these movies and images when they were in school and she's never lost the shame or disgust she felt.  I believe it haunts Germans even now, despite the rise of minority neo-n**i wannabes.  Now Austrians, that's another story...

  11. This a sensitive question for any German.

Almost 70 years later we are all quite clear that, that past has been condemned  in the worlds conscience.  So what is the point stirring the peoples passions.

Certainly we should not forget, but going over it for the sake of just idle talk helps no one.

Sure, there are those reminiscing the past but  the present day main German is not proud of those days and what they mean for the rest of the world.

  12. a verry SICK little man !
