As a Muslim, what is the penality for rape under Sharia (Islamic law) and did Mike Tyson pay it in prison.?

The penatly is to be flogged I beleive. The woman that is, for being in the company of a man she was not related to, without her relatives nearby, in the first place.

And for reporting it, bringing shame on her family, she can actually be stoned to death according to some interpretations of the law.

Unsure whether her being not a muslim herself, Mike bothered to try and arrange any of this from prison:)

I don't believe there is one. I think they see it as the womans fault or they use it as a form of punishment or something like that...

If that had happened in an Islamic country and she wouldn't have been parading herself in a beauty contest first,second she would have been thrown in jail for exposing body parts,third if I remember she invited Tyson to her hotel room were he was for hours,and the next day said he raped her,Tyson was stitched up fella,but it's your obsession with this guy that's letting you down,you sound like someone who he's either threatened for being a nuisance or you know someone who has,either way your questions are strange!

Actually, rape is punishable by beheading under Islamic law. Since Tyson is still among us, it would seem he hasn't paid that penalty.
