Do I need to apply for any sort of Visa to live and work in Australia????

  1. No you don't.

    However, you will need to be able to support yourself as you won't be entitled to any government payments (like WINZ) it's Centrelink here.  So get a job before you come over or soon after.

    Also get an Australian drivers license within the first 3 months of living here otherwise you will have to sit the tests from scratch.  You need to show them your NZ license and they will transfer it over (you still keep your NZ one though!)

  3. Nope!!! you are an automatic permanent resident for tax purposes.. So you can come straight on over and walk into to work the next day and live here permanently
