its really funny I hate manly but can't tell you why, most teams I don't like are because of certain players IE cowboys, I can't stand that overrated best player in the world ha ha ha shouldn't the best player be able to defend?

but Manly can't explain it I like most of the players but just can't stand them as a team. so go storm

as for parra I'm a doggies supporter so no sympathy from me.

Im a Dragons supporter so I know what its like to be gutted.

I respect all the nrl teams,there as good as each other on the right day,and I think that next sunday is going to be the right day for Melbourne.As much as I love the idea of a sydney winner,,I have to back my winning opinion.

Maybe you should go back to the days when it was the NSWRL.Would that make you happy? Its a national comp get over it & get used to it.All your questions have so much venom & hatred in them.Do you follow the greatest game ever played or just Parra? Or would your questions be different if it were 2 Sydney teams.Whoever the 2 teams are that make it to the GF are the 2 best teams & if 1 of them are from interstate all the better for Rugby League.

Sydney aren't an AFL state but they were plenty loud when the Swans had a good team.

Personally I'm hoping the Storm because like Geelong in the AFL they have been THE team all year.  I also think its just grand that both grands have the two grandest teams ... In English, first and second best teams all year are in the grannies in both codes.  I hate it when 8th place sneaks in on the back of one or two lucky wins.

Manly,I used to hate them with a passion ,when they had a couple of  Aholes called Terry Hill and John Hopuati playing...but, now I love em..... the Stewart bros, Mat Orford, Watmough,Bell, Monaghan..and heaps more....I reckon  this teams full of class,

I just hope for once,.....just .....ONCE..... that the Ref. is not biased in favour of the Storm as has become the norm ....we all know that NRL wants to grow the game in Melbourne, but please give us a fair Grand Final

I'm not into this "us vs them" rivalry, so where the team is from isn't relevant.

For me, the Melbourne Storm have been the best team all year, are well coached, have exciting player and deserve to win the Grand Final.

As a broncos supporter living now on eels territory (i was cheering for the eels last weekend) I would rather any team win except the storm. Go the eagles but i am not confident.

Manly..... This is like state against state, so it will be War....Storm are the best attacking team this year & Manly are the best defensive side all year & to me it comes down to defending your line & the storm seem to have problem with that when they are getting stood over, have a look at there finals run against Parra, they looked pretty ordinary as Manly looked all class against the cowboys & looked like they want the trophy.

I agree with Mrs Matey, you are still living in the old NSWRL days. The only way rugby will grow is with a NATIONAL comp and it is people like you who make the game have a bad reputation. As a fan of the greatest game in the world I am absolutely appalled of what Parramatta have done. As for who you should support that's up to you I won't interfere, but if you continue to ask questions that are just personal attacks on interstate teams the game will just die all across Australia.

I feel sorry there are so many people like you. You don't follow NRL, you ARE stuck in the days of a Sydney based competition. Wake up and get with the times. Having a broader based competition has improved the level of rugby league played. It has also enhanced the opportunity for players abroad, as can be attested by the English league. I think you are just having a whinge because your team lost today. Try living in Manly and supporting the storm!!!!!

Wayne A,sorry mate their had to be a winner and today the eels just weren't good enough,storm have played great footy all year and deserve to be in the granny,we may not be a league state but i assure you people in Melbourne will be right behind storm and i hope we flog manly next week,and for me personally it will mean going hard on the p!$$ from Friday night,AFL granny Saturday backed up by the league granny Sunday-you can't get a better weekend than that :) oh and throw in Saturday night Australia against Canada in the WC and i may actually die of alcohol poisoning-what a way to go!!

well clearly storm are doing something right by winner two concecutive minor premierships and making it to yet another grand final and yes i know you'll say but they didnt win last year but this year they've got something to prove!!

Rugby League is now a nation wide thing, we may be from Victoria but we still pulled a bigger crowd last weekend, down in melbourne than the other game!
