I believe they get paid at least minimum wage.  I don't ever tip them.  It's not like they do all that much.  I mean should I also tip the person who takes my order over the speaker also?  A real server has much more to do than just walking a bag of c**p out.

I don't work there, but I always tip them for bringing it out why not

It depends if I have cash or not. I usually pay with my card and they don't have a tipping option. :(

But yes, I say tip them.

In SC I was a server and we got paid only $2.13/hour+tips, which it quite standard.  Even though I am not nor ever have been a carhop, unless I hear that they only get paid $2.13 and rely on tips, I will never tip them.

I am a customer there sometimes..........I have never worked there........BUT..........I DO TIP........they are providing the service as any other type of sit down restaurant....as long as my food and condiments are brought to me quickly by a friendly (doesn't have to be a fake clown smile) person and they check back to see if my meal is acceptable or if I need anything else.........Yes, then they would be tipped.

A lot of people don't tip as they feel it is like using a drive thru window at a fast food place.
