As a U.S. citizen, of Irish descent, how do I get dual citizenship with Ireland?

  1. You fill all your info out on the back of a Jameson label and send it to the Irish consulate.


  2. You can get dual citizenship if one of your grandparents is from Ireland. You will need that grandparent's birth certificate and marriage certificate as well as proof that you are INDEED their grandchild.

  3. Check out the link below, but remember that either your parents or grandparents have to have been citizens.

  4. The U.S. does not allow dual citizenship my friend-You can only pledge allegiance to one flag as far as Uncle Sam is concerned!!
