I want to go to Vietnam especially stay at Ho Chi Minh City and take classes. I heard a lot of people did that and get college credit at the same time. But i don't know who to talk to about applying and what the requirements are. My school doesn't have a study abroad program for Vietnam. I checked some that are available online, but they don't have plans for winter. Does anyone here know which place in Ho Chi Minh city that offers classes to foreigners and will be able to earn college credit?

  1. Anywhere you go you will need to speak the native language unless the college offers some classes using the english language as Charles University in Prague does.

Some suggestions would be to contact a Vietnam embassy and see if they can help you.  They may refer you to the Ministry of Education (of whatever they use in Vietnam).

Another idea would be to get a list of colleges/universities in the area and try looking into them.

    Good luck!

  2. RMIT is an Aussie uni with campuses in HCMC and Ha Noi. Contact them to see about the availability of what you are seeking. There are other foreign unis that have partnerships with schools in VN - get friendly with google. YOu might also talk with the people that "CLAIM" to have done such activities - get the info from them.
