Question:

As a Yahoo Group Moderator, how can one switch out of Beta and back to the Original Version of Yahoo Groups?

I can't enable POLLS or even see the option for POLLS in one of the Yahoo Groups I moderate. I am also finding it difficult to enter TASKS in the CALENDAR section. From my research, this seems to indicate this Yahoo Group is operating under the BETA version where POLLS and CALENDAR are not operative. I want to switch back to the Original Version of Yahoo Groups so I can enable these POLLS and CALENDAR features. How do I do that? I'm not even seeing anything in this Yahoo Group that designates what version I am using, but maybe I've not looked in the right location. What can you tell me, my friends?

  1. if your group was chosen for the Beta test- wow, big mistake.

so far the Beta groups are just test groups that will be deleted later- there was an offer to group owners to submit their groups for the test, never met any yet who were chosen-

if you cant see the polls on your group, is hiding e-mails enabled on that group? if so, this option when set, you loose the polls feature- for good.

if you're a moderator not an owner, you may not have the priviledge to set group settings and this may be why, the owner would need to do it
