See, I am confused, as a casual clerk will I be placed up front weighing and selling stamps and things or will I be placed in the back processing mail or sorting. Thanks for all your kind answers, again.

Colette.

  1. You'll get to earn your keep for sure.  Window jobs are coveted and hard to come by even for regulars.  It is much more likely that you will be working nights sorting mail, especially parcels.

  2. No way you would be at the window, there is far too much info to learn.

You will probably be in the shadows sorting mail or if it's a large installation, working on some of the automation.

PS... I don't know that working the window is such a great job, since dealing with the public can be a real pain.
