I know of a few places such as the body of St. Bernadette in Nevers, a few relics of host that turned into flesh located in Portugal and Italy. I want to see things of that nature. Any other places to see?

  4. The Cathedral in Milan city centre It's one of the largest and probably the most ornate in the world.

While in Italy Rome and the Vatican are "Must Do" sites. Rome has lots more so check out a tourist guide at your local library.

You don't say how you intend to get about but a hire car is the most practical. Italian drivers are not the world's best though.
