He may look like he is pandering to Dems, but that is not who he is trying to attract. Women voted over 50% for Bush in the last 2 elections, and this woman will appeal to moderate and conservative women who live in battleground states. Palin's pluses are that although she is a woman, she fits the profile of candidates that American's vote for: smart, independent, self-sufficient, family values, fiscally conservative.

woman will vote for who they feel is the best candidate. I certainly do not see democrat woman voting republican because there is a woman running. give us a little credit!
