As a follow up....?

As a follow up to my other question about maternity leave....if you live in the states and you only get about 6 weeks leave what heppens next, I am assuming that you have to get Daycare...Does the US government give families any sort of "baby bonus" or child care subsididy?

I am just curious to see the differences in countries.

If you are a mother in canada you get 3 monthly checks (baby bonus, child supplement, and child tax benifit from the provience, not all proviences get it). The amount depends on how much your family makes.
